Allantoin

Derived from comfrey root, allantoin is an effective anti-irritant, healing and soothing to the skin. It is known to stimulate tissue growth.

Sweet Almont Oil (ORGANIC)

recognised for its soothing and softening properties, nourishes and protects the skin. It is used for a variety of conditions such as inflamation, itching, dry skin, and chapped hands. Cold pressed from the kernel and with no distinct aroma, this sweek oil contains vitamins A, B1, B2 and B6 and is one of the essential ingredients in Franc Body Melt.

Aloe Vera Juice (ORGANIC)

Soothes skin and calms skin irritation, aids healing, hydrates, anti-inflammatory. Also possesses moisturising properties.

Apricot Oil

Derived from the kernel, Apricot Oil nourishes mature, sensitive, irritated inflamed skin and is a good source of Vitamin A and polyunsaturated fatty acids. This fine, odorless, easily absorbed oil prevents dryness and improves skin elasticity and suppleness.

Avocado Oil (ORGANIC)

Cold pressed from the flesh of the avocado, this highly penetrative oil contains vitamins A, B, B2, D and E. In addition to treating dry, mature and dehydrated skins, avocado oil is excellent for skin conditions such as psoriasis and nappy rash. It assists in restoring aging skin, reducing fine lines, and improving elastin production.

Bamboo Extract

An effective natural, yet gentle exfoliant.

Calendula Extract

Derived from the plant commonly known as pot marigold, Calendula extract has antioxidant, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties useful for soothing, protecting and healing the skin.

Carrot Oil

An essential ingredient in Franc Serum, bursts with vitamins B, C, D, E, essential omega 3s (fatty acides essential for keeping you healthy and huydrated internally) and antioxidant properties. This root extract with high levels of beta-carotene truly rejuvenates dry and aging skin.

Centella Oil

 Known since antiquity in the Indian Ocean islands and tropical Asia for its therapeutic benefits in treating circulatory disorders, reducing fever and fortifying the immune system and adrenals, centella (Gotu Kola) is a native herb excellent for anti-inflammatory healing and rejuvenation.

Citric Acid

Derived from citrus, citric acid has natural pH adjusting properties and improves skin texture.

Cocoa Butter

Extracted from the cocoa bean, this is a wonderful emollient to lubricate and soften skin. An added benefit is its creamy consistency and texture.

Comfrey Extract

An extract of the fruit citrullus colocynthis, it is a healing, soothing emollient.

Emulsifying Wax

An effective but gentle blending agent to maintain the combination of water and oil. It promotes breakdown, stabilisation and formation of molecules to aid skin penetration.

Evening Primrose Oil

Containing vital essential fatty acids, this gentle oil hydrates and assists in calming skin irritations.

Ginger Essential Oil

Energising, and warming, ginger oil extracted from the rhizome, increases blood flow to skin cells.

Grapefruit Seed Extract

A safe, natural preservative that contributes to the stability and consistency of our products.

Hazelnut Oil

is  light, penetrative oil that is slightly astringent and a good carrier for aromatic essential oils. Rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it aids oil-prone skin and combats acne. Soothing properties help irritated, dry skin. Hazelnut Oil is one of the essential ingrediens in Franc Clinic.

Jojoba Oil (ORGANIC)

This odorless liquid wax is extracted from the jojoba beans of Mexico and South America. With a chemical composition similar to skin sebum, it is excellent for balancing and regulating sebum production, particularly for oily skin. Jojoba oil effectively removes grime and makeup from pores, nourishes, moisturises and softens skin. It reduces trans-epidermal water loss without blocking the transportation of water vapor and gases, leaving skin soft and supple.

Kaolin / Clay White

Rich in minerals and easily absorbed, kaolin white clay has many active components. It is a gentle, natural exfoliant of grime, toxins and flaky skin cells and acts as a natural deodoriser by absorbing odours. Kaolin’s
mildness makes it suitable for all skin types.

Lactic Acid

This naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid, extracted from milk, mainly works as an exfoliant, but has rejuvenating properties stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Cleopatra is reported to have bathed in sour
milk (lactic acid) to improve her complexion.

Lavender Essential Oil

is a restorative aromatic oil that promotes cell growth, wound/scar healing and increases blood flow, while soothing the sense. An essential oil in most of Franc Essential products, it is utilised for its aromatherapy properties, as much as for its therapeutic ones.

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass oil is know for its invigorating and antiseptic properties. It tightens elastin weakness and is used to heal wounds and scars.

Macadamia Oil (ORGANIC)

Cold pressed from Australian macadamia nuts, this highly emollient, deeply penetrating oil, with a composition similar to skin sebum, has a balancing effect on oily and combination skin due to its high content of  monounsaturated fatty acids.

Papaya Extract

Used for its purifying qualities, it refreshes and balances skin while moisturising.

Potassium Sorbate

A natural, toxin-free preservative.

Resemary Extract - Amiox

Naturally protects out products from oxidisation. Although it tends to have a shorter shelf life, this is a healthy alternative to commercially created anti-oxidants and superier to either Wheatgerm or Vitamin E. Amiox's anti-oxidant properties are beneficial too for their anti-ageing effects in skin care.

Rose Essential Oil

Aids wound and scar healing. Soothes irritated, inflamed and sensitive skin while it hydrates.

Rose Geranium Essential Oil

Highly aromatic, rose geranium oil is extracted from the leaves and flowers of the plant. The fragrance is reminiscent of roses with a citrus-peppery tone. Suitable for any skin type, it reduces inflammation while still being stimulating, regenerating skin cells.

Rosehip Oil (ORGANIC)

Extracted from the seed of a wild rose grown in Chile, rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids
that are vital to our wellbeing. Well known for its regenerative and rejuvenating effects on skin and its ability to repair
tissue, this is an exceptional oil for acne, dry, mature or dull skin, nappy rash, sunburn and scarring.

Sandalwood Essential Oil

This aromatic oil has antiseptic properties good for healing scars and wounds. By increasing capillary circulation it balances and softens skin. It calms and uplifts the senses.

Sesame Oil

One of the essential ingredients in Franc Ultra Rich, is a versatile, pale oil that is extracted from the seed. Its very hih content of Vitamin E, A and calcium makes it particularly beneficial for dry skin and a variety of skin conditions. Because of its stable shelf life it's a very useful base oil in natural skin care products.

Shea Butter

 Expressed from the African karite tree, shea butter is celebrated for its ability to protect the skin from
dehydration without a hint of greasiness.

Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinte

A preservative, naturally derived from amino acids.

Solubiliser

A plant extract which aids in dissolving natural oils in a medium of water.

Stearic Acid

An emollient binding agent.

Tea tree Essential Oil

Tea tree oil is renowned for its antiseptic, antifungal properties useful for healing wounds and scars. It assists to balance oily skin and reduce acne.

Vegetable Glycerine

A natural humectant that prevents water loss and drying of the skin, aiding in the retention of moisture. An important factor in making our creams so easy to spread.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A Stimulates cell proliferation and collagen formation, improving the skin's elasticity.

Vitamin B3 (panthenol)
